PRESENT LOCATION:
Huntly (Bendigo), Central Victoria.
The business can easily be relocated but VIC/NSW currently provide the best sales outcomes for floats. Quality float sales have also been achieved in QLD, Tasmania, South Australia, A.C.T., and W.A.

SCOPE of BUSINESS:
1. Sale of new Australian-made horse floats under exclusive agency arrangements with Victorian, NSW, and QLD manufacturers.
2. Sale of used/traded-in Australian-made horse floats.
3. Sale of Australian made floats held on consignment.
4. Sale of Double Up Panels (portable horse yards) as agents and stockists.
5. Consideration/negotiation of additional floats currently on long-term hire/buy arrangements - seebelow.
We enjoy excellent relationships with all suppliers and customers.
Other agencies could be negotiated. New floats are ordered on behalf of customers, and also for sale ex stock in Huntly. Stock includes new floats currently on display and second hand floats including one Gooseneck model. A current listing is available.

HISTORY:
The business commenced in early 2014. Early sales commenced with used floats which involved considerable time, expense, and travel, and quickly evolved into agency arrangements with float manufacturers, which has resulted in most sales being new floats. This has resulted in major cost reductions, improvements to sales, the reputation of the business, and much more efficient operational arrangements.

ADVERTISING:
The business is now widely known and attracts significant repeat business plus word-of-mouth contact. We advertise primarily through our website and Facebook. Minimal other advertising.
All available stock floats are on display at the Huntly property.

EQUIPMENT:
The 2016 Isuzu D-Max utility, an optional extra at $29,000, is in excellent condition, fitted with both reversing and tub cameras, GPS, 50mm bumper pull and 70mm tub coupling for Goosenecks.
Portable signs and banners, towing/floating accessories, and trade plate (if applicable/required).

MAINTENANCE/IMPROVEMENTS:
Minor maintenance is provided on-site, requiring only very basic workshop equipment. Local workshops or float manufacturers are utilised for most upgrades/improvements.
New floats are covered by the manufacturers’ warranty and therefore seldom involve any cost to our agency. Such claims are rare.

HUMAN RESOURCES:
No employees or agents are required. The business is operated on a part-time basis by the owners under very flexible time-tables. Total input equates to less than one full-time requirement and can easily be expanded to meet increased demands when necessary.

ADMINISTRATION:
Advertising, marketing, bookkeeping, website management, gst requirements, and all other administration is managed in-house. Taxation services are out-sourced.

FINANCE/PAYMENTS:
All sales are subject to payment in full before delivery. Finance is often arranged through the continuing relationship with a credit provider, if required. Another excellent and productive relationship.

TRADING RESULTS:
Results for the last 3 years will be made available to prospective purchasers upon the signing of the relevant confidentiality agreement.

FUTURE PROSPECTS:
Having successfully weathered the tight economic conditions of recent times, whilst maintaining profitable results throughout, the business is perfectly poised to benefit from improved conditions as interest rates improve, and to reduce the current stock level.
Minimal facilities are required.
