Absolutely one of a kind! The boat is 9.8m long and 4.8m wide, with upper decks, a master with 360 degree views, and a wonderful outside covered deck. Aunty Peg was designed as a liveaboard vessel for use in Queensland's broadwater. We brought her here to Tasmania where we have enjoyed having this 'waterfront apartment' in Hobart. She is wide and berthy, and comfortable for tall people, head heights of 7 ft inside. With solar power, twin batteries, and wired for both 12v and 240v power, there is a magnetic isolation unit,which separates the shore power from the vessel. Equipped with twin water tanks and a reverse osmosis system, the vessel has ample water for long periods away from the wharf. She comes with a propane hot water system and piping to connect pressurized hot water.

On the front deck is an outdoor shower with running hot and cold water. Entering through the standing height hatch is the head (bathroom) with a sink and washbasin, along with a composting toilet with solar powered exhaust fan to ensure easy smell free operation. From the head through the next hatch is the galley (kitchen) to the left. It has a full-size refrigerator, sink with running water, induction cooktop, microwave and ample bench space for preparing food. There are cupboards below the bench with tons of storage, along with storage cabinets along the walls. Large windows keep the kitchen light and bright.

To the right runs a passageway to the main salon at the stern. The passageway has a closet on the left, with a bookcase running along the wall to the right, topped with a beautiful handmade hardwood bench.
Entering the salon, to the right is a built-in desk providing a cozy and productive workspace. To the left is the sitting space, with three built in couches along the salon walls. The 'lounge' comfortably seats 8+. The couch along the left wall pulls out to form a double bed for guests. There is a huge storage space under each of the couches.

Walking further aft from the salon the back door of the vessel opens onto a spacious back deck, with a roof above which provides a beautiful covered space out of the wind to lounge and entertain. A pull down window between the salon and deck is a treat to let in the summer breezes, and keep indoor/outdoor spaces joined.

Between the galley and the passageway, a ships ladder takes you up to the wheelhouse. With large windows on all sides and sliding doors on the left and right of the wheelhouse it provides a magnificent space for the master bedroom/cabin. The queen bed sits at the stern end of the room, separated from the navigation station by a comfortable bench. Ample storage surrounds the bed, and screened windows allow a breeze. Exit your master bedroom to rooftop deck (ca. 24m2) and 360 degree views.

She comes with a free hold mooring in Cornelian bay, a small quaint bay in the center of Hobart's CBD. There is a fiberglass dingy, on a concrete anchor point along the shore which provides access to the vessel on the mooring and can be used to zip into the city. There is also a tiny woodstove that you can connect and use, for a warm fire to keep you cozy, adding more character to this gorgeous escape spot!

The rear deck has davits for a dingy, along with a boom for lowering the dingy to the water. The entire roof of the vessel is nearly flat, and coated with nonslip paint, making it an excellent space for watching the sunset or New Year's Eve fireworks with friends.

The boat is powered by a 2.7 liter diesel engine, which also provides charging to the battery system. She travels about 6 knots per hour and can comfortably cruise in protected waters down the channel - take her to Bruny, Kettering or beyond!
