438 Mckee Drive, Weranga, QLD 4405
Sold Price Not Disclosed (16 Jul 2018)
CHEAPEST! 40 Acres, Partially Fenced, BUSH WEEKENDER, Land Bank, Camping, bikes, build a cabin or home, power out front, school bus, good roads.
Is this the cheapest 40 acres in QLD? We think so!
We bought this block with intentions of camping and building a log cabin from the pine trees there and no longer have the time.
It is a very gently sloping block with beautiful bushland for the majority of the area.
Trees include lovely stands of paperbark surrounded by ironbark, gum, bulloak, and more. Kangaroos frequent the block especially in the previously cleared (guessing 15 years ago) rear section of the block which is now almost 100% pine trees.
This block would suit motorbikes, bush bashers, camping, beers, building a cabin or a home, or even just land banking. There is a council bin service too!
FENCES:
The rear fence is old but in good condition, side fence is new and in great condition, the fence around the rear section is mostly in good condition needing some minor repairs.
DAM: While there isnt currently a dam on the block there is a good location for one with potential for a lot of water catchment.
POWER: There is a power pole with tranformer near the front of the block
ROADS: Approximately 3kms of decent gravel road to the school bus stop which has bitumen in both directions.
LOCATION: 70kms to Dalby, 30kms to Tara. Approximately 3kms to Braemar State Forest with some great cliffs and caves to explore.
